About Me

My name is Megann Roszak. I am currently a second year graduate student at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am in the Student Affairs Administration Masters program. My graduate assistantship is with the Campus Activities Board. Working with CAB has been a wonderful experience. I have been able to apply much of what I have learned from the NASPA/ACPA Competencies and use them when advising and interacting with my students. I have experience in event planning. I have helped implement many events across campus. Some of the larger events I have worked on is New Student Orientation, Family Weekend, and UWL's annual festival Eagle Fest. Currently I advise all seven students and help them in the creation of all of their events.  Each semester CAB host around 45 events that is for the whole campus and the community. 

I have experience working in the Leadership and Involvement Center at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. Over the summer I helped keep the food pantry stocked and admitted anyone that requested access to the food pantry. In this role I also have worked with local business and organizations, and helped with the orientation program for incoming first-year students. 

Outside of higher education I spend a lot of time with my pets, Petey and Tanner. I also enjoy vacationing and exploring new places. Some of my favorite places are, Colorado, Italy, Seattle, and DisneyWorld!
